TWO IMPROV WORKSHOPS WITH
JAIME MOYER

PRINCIPLES OF IMPROV WORKSHOP (Sunday, July 25, 2010, Noon - 3PM):
From the basic principles of "yes/and" and making bold choices to more advanced scene work and even individual play, Jaime will introduce you to methods and exercises to make you comfortable, confident, and foster a greater sense of creativity. Get ready to review the tenets of improvisation and gain a stronger understanding of where your improv should come from and where it needs to go. Expect detailed feedback on how to improve timing, scene work and confidence from a seasoned professional.

CHARACTER WORKSHOP (Sunday, July 25, 2010, 3:30PM - 6:30PM):
Characters are the essence of great Improv and few improvisers have a character range as vast as Jaime. Let her teach you how to develop new unique and comedic characters by using improv exercises and encouraging bold character choices. Jaime will not only have you creating personalities you didn’t know you could, but she’ll also give you the confidence to maintain them and have fun!

ABOUT JAIME:
Jaime has been teaching improv for almost ten years, and has facilitated classes at Second City-Detroit, Second City-Hollywood, Planet Ant and Go Comedy Improv Theater. She received her B.A. in Theatre from University of Detroit-Mercy, and has been seen on many local stages including The Ringwald, Planet Ant, GO Comedy!, The Abreact, Performance Network, The Zeitgeist, J.E.T., Improv Inferno, Theatre Co., and The Attic Theatre. She also performed in Homecoming at Improv Olympic in Chicago. She has directed and written several shows in the Detroit area, as well as directing "Viewers Like Me" in Los Angeles. Jaime has been featured in the Lifetime Channel movie, “Prayers for Bobby” and other films including "Offshore", "The Planning Lady", "21 Carbs", "Shoebox", and "Greg Likes Me". She was recently nominated for Best Actressin a Comedy for her portrayal of Elizabeth Donderstock in "The Book of Liz". Jaime currently resides in Los Angeles, California, and performs weekly at Second City-Hollywood in "This Week @ Warzecha", "Smokehouse", "Code Oscar", "Two Beer Queer", and in the Alumni Jam.
