Planet Ant artist community presents Trembling Earth at Ghost Light on Saturday December 15th! Founded in Athens, GA, the all original psychedelic rock n roll and blues band, delivers its own unique sound that draws influence from the classic funkiness of David Byrne, the grunge of Neil Young and Crazy Horse, the delicate lyrics of Paul Simon, the indie rock sensibility of Built to Spill, and the psychedelic colours of Syd Barrett, mixed in with a hard driving Mississippi delta blues sound. Somehow with all these elements combined, Trembling Earth still has a little of that Athens, GA vibe of Love Tractor, Guided by Voices, and Vic Chesnutt, and gets the room up and dancing. Trembling Earth has shared the stage with Daniel Hutchens (Widespread Panic), Muruga Booker (Jerry Garcia Rain Forest Band, P-Funk All Stars), Hope For a Golden Summer, Mr. Blotto, Covert Ops, UV Hippo, and many more.

FernWhale, Northville based band fronted by vocalist Angela Shepard delivers a original quarky pop rock songs mixed with classic underground rock sensibility. She is joined by members of the amazing Northville Winery Grateful Dead Cover Band, which makes for a very eclectic mix of music.

Anne Erlewine debuts songs from her new album with her new band. This Ypsilanti songwriter delivers volumes of original tunes with deep and poignant lyrics, haunting waltzes, and brilliant writing.
