Fifteen movies in one night? No, it's not an all-nighter full of TiVo'd films - it's the second annual Planet Ant Film Festival.

The event, which highlights the work of local independent filmmakers, is 6 p.m.-midnight Saturday at Hastings Street Ballroom in Detroit. The 15 "no-budget" films, which range from 3 minutes to 70 minutes, include:

• "Digging" - A young gravedigger faces love and death.
• "Electroman: A Documentary" - A mockumentary about the life and times of an aging superhero.
• "Four Angry Men, Episode 1" - A pirate, detective, skeleton and robot set sail for adventure on a pirate ship.
• "Giant Sized" - The life story of a high school loser who wants to give back to the cruel society that has shunned him.
• "Mosaic in Europe" - Felicia Jamieson's award-winning documentary about Detroit's Mosaic Youth Theatre and their 2000 trip to Europe.
• "Park: A Rock Movie" - A documentary about Detroit rock band Park and their first (and last) national tour.
• "Shoebox" - A black comedy that follows a woman's journey through pet loss, group therapy and her eventual personal resolution.
• "Tokyo Below" - A subterranean train ride through Tokyo's underground music scene.

Tickets are $10. The Hastings Street Ballroom is at 715 E. Milwaukee, Detroit. Call (313) 365-4948.
