...Planet Ant Theatre explodes with laughter as the Improv Colony take audience suggestions and spin them into entire scenes. Featuring the areas finest, funniest, and most seasoned improvisers, the Improv Colony puts on a show like you've never seen before. The evening is topped off with the AntJam. After the Home Team and a brief intermission, entered names are drawn at random for teams of improvisers who will call all the shots on stage for fifteen to twenty minutes. The Improv Colony doesn't have an official name so each week we ask for your help. Fill out a ballot with your Improv Colony name suggestion and drop it in the ant-head ballot box. If your ballot is selected that night at the end of intermission, the Improv Colony not only uses it for the night, but you also win a Fabulous, Fabulous Prize. It's free to enter so c'mon in and stuff the ballot box!
We also have two annual improv festivals known as the COLONY FEST. Each Winter and Summer, improv troupes gather to compete for their own late night show in our regular season. We may be getting ready for one right now!
